Depending on interest, the workshop will include producing fly-through 3-d maps, georeferencing (bringing photos into GIS), geocoding (connecting addresses to map locations), creating shape files, managing data, heat maps (highlighting concentrations), shading proximities, and isopleth maps (curving lines maps). Computers and software will be provided so that participants can follow along and practice GIS techniques.
