Mentoring is an important responsibility for many researchers, and it is a highly individual process that should be tailored to the experiences and backgrounds of the students. Prof. Michael Loui, University Distinguished Teacher-Scholar and professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, will lead this interactive workshop to help you become a more effective and intentional mentor. You will learn how to set expectations and share feedback with the students whom you mentor. You will learn solutions for common problems in mentoring.
