The workshop is designed to help faculty members train graduate and post-doc students in mentoring undergraduate students conducting research. A part of the workshop will involve understanding the obstacles that prevent graduate and post-docs from creating a productive relationship with students as well as models of successful mentoring practices. We will also discuss strategies that can be implemented that will help facilitate graduate and post-doc students in cultivating and nurturing the research ideas and agendas of undergraduate students. This workshop is intended for faculty and administrators only.
