Savvy Researcher Workshops - University Library

Perhaps you were asked for an ORCID iD when you last submitted a manuscript for publication? Or maybe in a grant or fellowship application? Were you unsure what ORCID was and why you should use it? ORCID is a unique iD number and thousands of journals and funding organizations worldwide now request ORCID iDs. You should have and use your ORCID identifier to ensure that you are reliably linked with all of your publications—even if your name is common, misspelled, or changes. In this workshop, learn more about what ORCID is, where it is being used, how you can get your free ORCID iD, how to use it when submitting manuscripts and grants, and how you can even link previous publications to your ORCID iD, ensuring you get credit for YOUR work every time.
