FACULTY RESEARCH CONVERSATIONS
At the beginning of every year we invite our new graduate students to give brief presentations about their work so we can all begin to get to know them, and they can learn about each other.
In the past two years we have added several new faculty to A+D. We would like to make it possible for our new and continuing faculty to learn about the research we are all doing here in A+D.
To this end the School is inaugurating a series of informal presentations we are calling “Faculty Research Conversations.” The format would be a series of 45 minute lunchtime events in which two members of the faculty would give brief (up to 10 minute) overviews of recent or current work with the rest of the time for conversation. It’s not a panel, not a conference presentation, but a chance to get to know what your colleagues are doing, making, thinking.
Bring your lunch; the School will provide beverages.
