The National Diversity Job Fair Series, sponsored by LatPro and the National Society for Hispanic Professionals, will be held at Navy Pier on March 29.
Chicago, IL – Feb 24, 2012 – LatPro (www.LatPro.com), the essential job board for Hispanic professionals, is partnering with the National Society for Hispanic Professionals (www.NSHP.org), to produce a nationwide career fair series that connects Hispanic job seekers with diversity-conscious employers. The Bilingual job fair will be held at the Lakeview Terrace at Chicago’s Navy Pier on March 29 from 10am-3pm.
The job fair provides a unique opportunity for employers to meet with professional candidates who have developed language and multicultural skills. The Chicago fair is the second event of LatPro’s 2012 season consisting of nine diversity career events which are held across the United States for Hispanic and bilingual professionals.
“It was an easy decision to return to Chicago after hosting an event here for the past 5 years. We build our schedule around cities that house diverse bilingual professionals, and a great number of companies with genuine interest in hiring such talent. Chicago has proven to be a wonderful city with enthusiastic job seekers and excellent employers,” said Ricardo Villalba, events manager for NSHP.
Jobseekers attending the 2012 Chicago Diversity Career Fair will have the opportunity to network with fellow Hispanic professionals and local chapters of Latino organizations, in addition to meeting representatives from employers such as Walgreens, YMCA, Zurich North America, and RCN.
