Join the Latino Cultural Center and the Institute for Research on Race & Public Policy for an interactive discussion with Patrisia Macas-Rojas about border security mandates; including tracking criminal aliens merged with the mission of deterring illegal immigration. This talk will examine how migrants in transit, deportees, and border residents resist and reify criminal classifications in their daily experiences with arrest, incarceration, and deportation.
