Urban Transportation Center at UIC 2013 Fall Seminar Series Presents: Transportation Vision for Chicago Lakeside Development
Lakeside is the former U.S. Steel Corporation site on the far South Side of Chicago that will be developed over the next few decades into a fully accessible community with next generation infrastructure, innovative architecture and lakefront access. Learn the transportation plans proposed by McCaffery Interests for this nearly 600-acre site.

• Recent opening of South Lake Shore Drive.
• Proposed water taxi service, Amtrak station and BTR to downtown Chicago.
• Connections to CTA and Metra rail.
