Please join Dr. Scott Wright from Northrop Grumman on Wednesday, February 6 at 5:00pm in 151 Everitt Lab as he presents "Recent Advances in Trans-Ionospheric Geolocation."
Abstract: Dr. Wright will discuss the impacts of space weather on manmade systems, and report on leveraging nascent computational capabilities into trans-ionospheric geolocation.
Bio: Dr. Scott Wright is a Technical Fellow at Northrop Grumman Information Systems. His areas of expertise include sensing systems; space systems; and laser-based systems. Prior to coming to Northrop Grumman, Dr. Wright served as a Research Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University. He has a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Southern Illinois University.
