Lectures in Engineering Entrepreneurship: Steve Vivian
Steve Vivian has 15 years of experience financing and investing in middle market companies, most recently at Prism Capital. Prism has invested in 40 companies since its inception and Steve joined in 1999 as the second full-time professional. Mr. Vivian has been an active industry leader, having served as a past Chairman of the National Association of Small Business Investment Companies (formerly NASBIC, now knows as the Small Business Investors Alliance, or SBIA). He currently serves on the Institutional Investor and PAC Committees for the Illinois Venture Capital Association and on the President’s Leadership Council of The Chicago Field Museum. Mr. Vivian received both an MBA and a BS in General Engineering from the University of Illinois.
Lectures in Engineering Entrepreneurship is a class that meets each Tuesday from 5-6:15 with guest lecturers from the industry sharing concepts of entrepreneurship. This is open to the public and free to attend.
