The workshop will be held in the Main Library, Library 314. Take the north stairwell (Armory and Wright Street entrance) to the 3rd floor of the Main Library and make a left at the top of the stairs.
An introduction to applications and principles of Geographic Information Systems. Participants will see GIS in action in different disciplines. Online mapping programs will be demonstrated and participants will have a chance to discuss their own research and brainstorm potential GIS visualizations.
