You know that there are millions of images and other visual material available, but how do you find the one(s) you need for your presentation, paper, or research? This workshop encourage you to explore the interaction between text and image throughout your research process, and will introduce you to several resources for finding visual materials across disciplines. Throughout the session we will discuss what types of visual materials available, what would work best within your project, and sources to find images. This workshop is the first session in a four part workshop series about visual literacy.
