Visual media can enhance the impact of your academic work, but finding content to use while addressing the ethical and legal issues surrounding images and visual media can be daunting. This workshop will focus on the basics of copyright law, emphasizing the four factors of fair use. In addition, licensing, rights as a content creator, privacy, and citations will be discussed. Please remember that librarians cannot give you advice regarding copyright issues, but we can steer you in the right direction to find answers to your questions.
