PowerPoint, probably the most widely used presentation software around, often gets a bad rap. Is it an issue with the tool itself, or how it is used? In this workshop we will examine several innovative ways to use this tool as well as discuss best practices for its use. We will also look at Prezi (http://prezi.com/), a relatively new alternative presentation tool. Finally, we will discuss other considerations that one needs to make when preparing for and delivering an engaging presentation.
