You're writing your first article and you aren't sure which journals to submit it to. Or you are in a tenure- track position and you're unsure of how journals are ranked by importance. In this workshop, we will learn how to distinguish between numerous bibliometrics, including impact factor and altmetrics. By the end of the session, participants will be able to determine what the quality journals for their field or subject area are and how their publications reflect on their professional identity.
