PowerPoint, probably the most widely used presentation software around, often gets a bad rap. Is it an issue with the tool itself, or how it is used? In this workshop we will examine several innovative ways to use this tool as well as discuss best practices for its use. We will also look at a few alternative presentation tools like Prezi and Haiku Deck to see they have to offer. Finally, we will discuss other considerations that one needs to make when preparing for and delivering an engaging presentation.
