Mentoring is an important responsibility for many researchers, and it is a highly individual process that should be tailored to the experiences and backgrounds of the students. Prof. Michael Loui, University Distinguished Teacher-Scholar and professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, will lead this interactive workshop to help you become a more effective and intentional mentor. You will learn how to set expectations and share feedback with the students whom you mentor. You will learn solutions for common problems in mentoring. Sponsored by the Postdoctoral Affairs Office
