Doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers in the life and health-related sciences are invited to a workshop on the NIH National Research Service Award (NRSA), a.k.a. the Ruth L. Kirschstein Fellowship (F30, F31, & F32).  The workshop will offer an overview of the fellowship program and provide guidance on how to prepare competitive proposals.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.  Eligible graduate students in any year of their doctoral program may apply, and fellowships offer multiple years of support.  For additional details, see F30 (MD/PhD), F31 (predoc), F31-diversity (for under-represented students), & F32 (postdoc).

Presenters will be Professor of Microbiology and Director of the Medical Scholars Program Jim Slauch, Professor of Biochemistry Dave Kranz, and NRSA Fellow and MD/ PhD student in Biochemistry Dan Harris.
