GIS software is able to ''join'' tables of Census data to geographic boundary files in order to display thematic maps. Learn which boundary files work best with Census data, how to format Census data so that it will join with boundary files, and some of the issues you need to think about when joining these files together and how to visualize the map product in different manners. After attending this workshop, you will be able to transform your geographic data onto a map.
