If you can, please join us on Saturday July 28 for this concert of choral and orchestral music to celebrate Emeritus Professor Nicholas Temperley's 80th birthday and his seminal contribution to British music research, performance and scholarship, both at the U of I and throughout the USA.
The conductors are Emeritus Professor Chester Alwes and two alumni of the School of Music's graduate programs in orchestral and choral conducting, Kevin Kelly and Laurie Matheson.
The concert coincides with the North American British Music Studies Association meeting on campus, July 26-28, which has as its theme “Anglo-American Musical Connections.”
