Want to learn how to encrypt your data? This workshop provides basic instruction in cryptographic practices by exploring its relevance in today's information economy, particularly as a means of securing communications and documents. Particular emphasis is given to defining PGP and GPG standards in addition to other technical considerations. Implementation methods are demonstrated so that participants will have knowledge of available software to encrypt their own resources.
