“By ‘stick,’ we mean that your ideas are understood and remembered, and have a lasting impact- they change your audience’s (students') opinions or behaviors.” (Heath & Heath, 2007).
We spend hours making decisions on critical concepts and skills for our students to master; we think about the best ways to present those concepts; we plan activities to engage our students. In this session, we will discuss the six principles that Chip and Dan Heath propose in their book Made to Stick: Why Some Ideas Survive and Others Die” and ways to apply them to our teaching.
