Designed for, but not limited to beginning language teachers, this workshop will look at ways to link what we know about language acquisition to successful language classroom activities. Teachers will be introduced to some tried and true classroom activities, as well as be given a list of resources. Discussion will also address the role of vocabulary practice in the language classroom. Prior to the workshop, teachers are asked to submit a lesson plan or ideas for one activity to be shared among all workshop participants. Workshop may be useful in revitalizing classrooms of experienced instructors.
