Robert Myers is the author of over a dozen plays, including Atwater: Fixin’ to Die, The Lynching of Leo Frank and Mesopotamia, about Gertrude Bell, which was presented in the fall of 2011 at Yale University. He holds a Ph. D. in literature from Yale, is a Professor of English and Creative Writing at the American University of Beirut and has written on theatre and culture for The New York Times, Middle East Critique, PAJ and other publications. He is currently a Fellow at the UIUC’s International Forum for U.S. Studies.
