Presentations to be given include: "What about Hermes? A Reconsideration of the Myth of Prometheus in Plato's 'Protagors,'" by Sergio Yona, and "Hesiod's 'Nautical-Themed Pashmina Afghan': The Nautalia as a Discursive Challegne to Homer's Epics," by Jessie Wells. These are practice talks in preparation for the the Classical Association of the Middle West and South's (CAMWS) 109th annual meeting, scheduled for April 17-20 in Iowa City. CAMWS is an organization for Classics (Latin and Greek) teachers at all levels, undergraduate and graduate students, and anyone else who enjoys learning about the world of classical antiquity.
