EndNote is a reference management software application, used to manage bibliographies and references when writing papers such as essays and articles.
In this workshop we will learn the basics as well as explore the new features of X5: how to attach files to an EndNote Web record, or transfer file attachments between the Web and your computer; how to use the Quick Edit tab which expands in EndNote X5 to include a preview of attached PDF files and how to annotate a PDF with highlights and/or comments. New Cite While You Write options will save time with new conditional formatting that substitutes data for empty fields automatically. A new citation styleAuthor (Year)which is now available in Microsoft Word along with over 5,000 new and updated output styles, will also be explored.
