EndNote is a reference management software application, used to manage bibliographies and references when writing papers such as essays and articles.

In this 3-hour workshop we will learn the basics as well as explore the new features of X6: how to attach files to an EndNote Web record, or transfer file attachments between the Web and your computer; how to use the Quick Edit tab which expands in EndNote X6 to include a preview of attached PDF files and how to annotate a PDF with highlights and/or comments.

New Cite While You Write options will save time with new conditional formatting that substitutes data for empty fields automatically. A new citation style'Author (Year)'which is now available in Microsoft Word along with over 5,000 new and updated output styles, will also be explored.
