The Level 1 course is for those whose job responsibilities include working with table data, asking questions of the data, and generating reports. It also provides the fundamental knowledge and techniques needed to advance to more complex Access responsibilities such as designing databases. Upon successful completion of Level 1, attendees will be able to identify the components of the Access 2013 environment; modify, sort and filter records, and work with lookups; join data from different tables in a query, perform calculations in a query, create parameter queries, action queries, unmatched and duplicate queries, and summarize data; and generate reports.
