Emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases pose considerable health and economic threats to our global community and create unique and varied political challenges to contain and control them. There is a critical need for effective and coordinated governance to mount an appropriate response. This seminar will cover measures needed to address this timely topic from a scientific and policy perspective.
