Recently, there has been a considerable push to construct systems which have excitations known as Majorana zero modes. One promising route to achieve this is in 1D superconducting wires with strong spin-orbit coupling. Candidate systems have been constructed by several groups, and measurements of the zero-bias conductance peaks are largely consistent with theoretical expectations for systems harbouring such excitations. However, experimental probes sensitive to the distinctive correlations of these Majorana particles are highly desirable. I will discuss two proposals for such experiments.
