U.S. Foreign Policy in Africa: Is Obama Policy a Continuation or Break?
Horace Campbell focuses on the Obama administration's Africa policy in a changing global landscape with a particular reference to the movements for social justice in Egypt and North Africa. His presentation will draw out the importance of the basic literacy on Africa so that disinformation on Africa does not support the rising militarism and scramble for resources in Africa.
NOTE: this is also the W.E.B. DuBois Lecture
