The speaker for this Startup Cafe will be A.G. Karunakaran, or "AGK," the President and CEO of MulticoreWare, Inc, a multicore software solution provider. The company has significant expertise in GPU programming models such as CUDA, OpenCL and Multicore CPU programming models such as OpenMP. AGK has 25 years experience in General Management, Engineering and Marketing for the computing, semi-conductor and embedded markets. Prior to MulticoreWare, AGK was the founding President and CEO of GDA Technologies Inc.

At GDA, he was responsible for leadership development, growth strategy, cash flow management and worked with leading Semiconductor companies to commercialize the silicon intellectual property blocks. Under his leadership GDA made it to the INC 500 list, Si100 lists, TIE-SV spotlight, grew to 400 employees, significant product development engagements with leading systems and semiconductor companies and became a leading supplier of High speed Serial I/O Semiconductor Intellectual blocks. AGK also has played extensive engineering and marketing management roles at semiconductor companies like Trident Microsystems, Opti and IT companies like HCL America, HCL India, Wipro and Pragathi Computers.
