Sibelan Forrester is Professor of Russian Language and Literature at Swarthmore College. She is a specialist in Russian Silver Age poetry, women's and gender studies, and literary translation. She has published numerous translations of prose and poetry from Croatian, Russian and Serbian, including Elena Ignatova's /The Diving Bell/ (Zephyr Press, 2006) and Vladimir Propp's /The Russian Folktale/ (forthcoming in fall of 2012 from Wayne State University Press).
