Originating Calendar Native American House -- Events Calendar
October 10th is Indigenous People's Day and October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM). Native American House and Women's Resource Center collaborate to film-screen "What Becomes of the Broken Hearted," a sequel to "Once Were Warriors" which was shown last year during DVAM. Post-film discussion and light refreshments provided. Both movies are based off of Alan Duff's bestselling books.
