Rubrics are useful instruments that can help you not only grade more efficiently but also defend the grade you give. However, they are only as useful as you design them to be. This workshop will provide information on how to create this scoring tool and how to use a rubric for effective grading. Please come with one test question that you think might be difficult to grade so that we can practice creating rubrics with authentic material.
