John Alba Cutler has published essays in "American Literature," "Aztlán: A Journal of Chicano Studies", and "MELUS," and has an essay forthcoming in the summer 2014 issue of "American Literary History." He is currently completing a book manuscript entitled "Ends of Assimilation: Race, Gender, and the Formation of Chicano Literature," forthcoming from Oxford University Press.
