The 2012 Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon will be run the weekend of April 27-29. The race and related events will attract 20,000+ people to the campus area at various times from approximately 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, through approximately noon on Saturday, April 29. The race events will require several temporary street closings, so please share the following street closing information with anyone who might need to enter or exit campus between 6:15 p.m. and approximately 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 27 or between 6:45 a.m. until approximately noon on Saturday, April 29. Please note that police will be stationed throughout the race course, as will hundreds of volunteers, and parking meters along the course will be bagged throughout the weekend.
