Rubrics are useful instruments that can help you not only grade more efficiently but also defend the grade you give. However, they are only as useful as you design them to be. This workshop will provide information on how to create this scoring tool and how to use a rubric for effective grading.

Please come with one or two test questions that you think might be difficult to grade. We will be practicing creating rubrics with authentic material.
