This course will help you get the most from your in-house laboratory. The emphasis will be on mammalian hematology (primarily dog and cat); however, we will review avian and reptile hematology as well. By the end of this course you will:

  • Feel very comfortable with red and white blood cell identification and data interpretation.
  • Make outstanding blood smears.
  • Perform an in-house reticulocyte count.
  • Interpret all aspects of the CBC.
