Matt Gornick, founder of Orange QC will discuss his experience with building a startup as a student at the University of Illinois, making his own company upon graduation and his experience with Ruby on Rails, database systems, mobile development, data analytics, cloud computing, user experience, and launching a lean startup. OrangeQC develops web-based inspection software for facility managers and building service contractors. OrangeQC helps organizations save time, improve performance, and increase customer satisfaction. OrangeQC was founded in 2009 at EnterpriseWorks and is now based in Chicago. The company has commercial contracts around the world including with universities, cleaning services, and hotels. Free lunch will be provided.
