CREATED:20120209T110000Z
DESCRIPTION:The UIC Innovation Incubator would like to invite LGSB studen
ts with an interest in entrepreneurship to join the Young Professionals

ccess to resources\, and finding nontraditional sources of valuable supp
ort are just some of the basic ones.A distinguished panel of professors
and entrepreneurs will discuss unique ways to be a successful entreprene
ur based on their experiences with many different entrepreneurs in Chica
go. Topics will include Chicago's climate for entrepreneurship\, resourc
es for entrepreneurs\, and finding funding in tough environments.Panelis
ts include: Patrick J. Murphy (Associate Professor of Management and me
mber of DePaul University's entrepreneurship faculty) Eddie Lou (CEO\, S
hiftgig) Jack Cummins (Partner\, Cummins & Associates\, Ltd.) Corliss G
arner (Vice President Commercial Banking\, BMO Harris Bank)Tickets are o
