 ival\, organized in collaboration with the Chicago-based group FilmHelle
 nes and with the generous support of the European Union Center at the Ar
 t Theater in Champaign. Offering a unique opportunity for people in our 
 community to watch some great new cinema from Greece not distributed thr
 ough the usual commercial outlets\, we will be showing 7 films (2 docume
 ntaries and 5 feature films)\, all recent Greek productions several of w
 hich have won prizes at international venues. The timing of the festival
  couldn't be more ideal\, as this spring marks the first time we will be
  offering a course on contemporary Greek film (GRKM 199)\, taught by Dr.

 Continuing her research on partisan formations in Nazi-occupied Beloruss
 ia\, Anika sharpens her analysis of gendered forms of resistance and its

 cts\, Jewish women.Anikas future research interests include the confluen
 ce of memory discourses and politics and perceptions of migration\; she
