Simpson serves as the Director of Academic Advising and Career Services. Having acquired a M.Ed. in College Student Affairs, she is passionate about enabling students to reach their professional potential by finding their unique strengths.
Professor Jeffrey Loewenstein, College of Business, MBA
Professor Loewenstein teaches both undergraduate and MBA students on campus. He recieved his Ph.D. from Northwestern University and has previously tough at Kellogg School of Management, Columbia Business School, and The University of Texas at Austin. Loewenstein's work provides guidance on how to negotiate, make decisions, communicate, and work more effectively in interpersonal settings.
Kate Rogers, Director of Affinity and VISA Programs at the UI Employee Credit Union
Rogers is the VISA and Affinity Programs director with a background in Business Development and Member Relations for the U of I Employees Credit Union. She is also well versed on the new SBIR and STTR loan programs for the expedition of funding to companies between Phase I and Phase II
With over 25 years of experience in growth-company strategy and venture capital/private equity investing, Karin's expertise spans all levels of the capital structure. O'Connor is President at Perimeter Advisors, is a member of Hyde Park Angels.

Jeff Yacup, Assistant Director at the Illinois Leadership Center
Yacup currently works with the the Illinois Leadership Center (ILC) workshop series, alumni relations as well as training and development of ILC staff. He is passionate about leadership development and helping others to cultivate self-leadership skills.
Marciniak graduated from the University of Illinois' College of Business with a degree in Management - Entrepreneurship. During his time in Champaign he work at EnterpriseWorks in Research Park. At the age of 22 he created TrackBill.
