Each piece has the potential to open conversation of what revolution means in our contemporary moment.

    • All Day

Drawing from both historical and contemporary periods, World on the Horizon will explore the Swahili coast, hinterland, and western Indian Ocean rim as worlds linked not only by centuries of trade, but also through the flow of aesthetic ideas and practices that have long traversed the region.

    • 12:00 - 1:00 pm
    • KAM Lower Level, Classroom Studio

A Friday lunchtime series of free yoga classes introduces participants to the fundamentals of hatha yoga: seated and standing asanas (poses), breath awareness, and relaxation techniques. Participants should bring their own yoga mats and wear comfortable clothing.
