http://illinois.edu/calendar/list/2800 The Friday Forum Lecture Series began in 1927 and is one of the University YMCAs longest-running and most successful programs and occurs every Friday at noon. This series, "Beyond 100 Days: Is This the Change We Need?" will examine current public policy debates and analyze the extent to which the United States has moved to achieve just and lasting change with respect to selected pivotal issues, while also exploring what efforts are still needed to ensure progress on these issues. The series will take a broad look at the most pressing public policy challenges facing us locally, nationally, and globally in areas such as the economy, ecology, education, criminal justice, foreign policy, and beyond.
