The Global Film Initiative proudly presents an extraordinary series of ten feature films. Now in its third year at the Y, Global Lens attracts dynamic audiences who want to discover extraordinary new films. The series builds upon the unique perspectives that have come to define the Global Film Initiatives library of films. This Summer, the University Y and Center for Global Studies have partnered with the Art Theater in downtown Champaign to screen films for free. On 2nd Thursdays at 5:30pm, the Art Theater will show the monthly film. On 3rd Thursdays, the Y screens the same film, also for free!
