Professors Mann and Wing will take part in our conference: 'Peacebuilding in West Africa: Looking for Answers,' on March 11 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Levis Faculty Center, 919 W. Illinois Street, Urbana. They will be joined by other leading experts on West Africa: Scott Straus of University of Wisconsin (Madison), Abu Bah (Northern Illinois University) as well as U of I scholars Thomas Bassett, Maimouna Barro, Timothy Wedig and Carol Spindel.
