Greeks Support Homecoming BBQ
The Greeks Support Homecoming BBQ is a fun event to get people in the Homecoming Spirit! There is free food, t-shirts giveaways, a D.J., and a photo booth where you can capture memories for years to come. In this course students will examine sexual violence in the college environment, its various institutional and culture contexts, and how to support survivors, as well as develop practical skills for leading peer workshop for the FYCARE (First Year Campus Acquaintance Rape Education) program.

Adult Services: Computer Cleaning Volunteer
Volunteers are needed to assist with cleaning tasks for library public computers and keyboards so that they remain in good condition for public use. Preferred schedule options would include Monday through Saturday, 8:30 am to 10:30 am and Sunday, 11 am to 1 pm.
An interview with a volunteer coordinator must be completed before volunteer work can begin. Please email email@example.com or call 217/403-2070 to schedule an interview.
Join service projects that take place on Saturdays during the academic year to give back to the local community in Champaign-Urbana. Volunteer opportunities provided through Service Saturdays are easy-access and typically one-time projects. The projects are organized by either the Illini Union Office of Volunteer Programs, campus groups, or community agencies who plan and coordinate each project. FriendShop Bookstore Cashier
Cashiers process all transactions for the library's FriendShop. Retail supervisory experience a plus but not necessary. 2-4 hours per week. Adult volunteers (over 18 years) are needed Wednesday through Saturday: 10:30 am - 5:30 pm and Sunday: 1 pm - 5:30 pm. Volunteers can work 3-5 hours per shift. Thanksgiving Basket Drive
From November 1 thru 14, help make this Thanksgiving a cherished moment for a family in need by donating all of the essential items needed to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. For more information on how to participate go.illinois.edu/OVPThanksgiving.
Volunteer opportunities are available from October 24 through November 16 to help with our annual Thanksgiving Basket Drive! Volunteers are asked to work a minimum of 1 hour on the day that they sign up. Volunteer work will include hanging up fliers, chalking, sorting donated baskets, and picking up baskets. Senior Citizens Pumpkin Painting with VIP - October 29
Following the theme of Halloween this month, let's paint pumpkins with our friends at Prairie Winds! Materials, including the pumpkins, will be provided.
