Help "Shape the Future Today"

With the generous support of our alumni and 100% participation by the members of the Alumni Advisory Board, the Shape the Future Today Initiative has reached more than 80% of its goal! The Initiative was established to provide scholarships for qualified students who cannot afford an unpaid internship and to outfit more classrooms with state-of-the art multimedia technology.

A summer internship is one of the best uses of the knowledge and skills that our students acquire as a Psychology major. Powerful multimedia tools have been shown to enhance classroom learning. Read more about the importance of internships and the need for cutting edge technology in the classroom.

Internship Opportunities

The Department of Psychology would like to increase the number of internships that we can offer our undergraduate students. Does your company have an internship program; do you currently offer internships to psychology students? What qualifications do students need to apply to your program? If your company does not have an internship program in place, are you interested in starting a program for psychology students? For more information, contact Leslie Vermillion, senior director of development, LAS Office of Advancement, (217) 333-7108 or ljv@illinois.edu.
