Picturing Competition & Cooperation

The European Union Center sponsors an annual photo contest, which invites U of I students, faculty and staff, to submit photos that were taken in the EU and are inspired by a specific theme. This year's winners will be recognized at the  EU Center's annual European Union Day in February 2013, and their photos will be on display at the event. Winning entries can also be viewed here.

Illinois Language and Linguistics Society Graduate Student Conference
April 5-7, 2013 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

The conference is open to all subfields of linguistics. In addition to the general conference and a Saturday poster session, this year's meeting will include a special session Saturday, April 16th on the topic of ‘Minority languages’. We encourage submission and are currently accepting abstracts for topics in general linguistics and minority languages.
